The new legislation for the remunerated passenger transport sector has been in effect since October 21.
Vehicles that are still in vehicle rental service status (limousines / LVC) must transition to street taxi status.
If you are in this case, you have until January 21, 2023 to switch to the new legislation via this form.
We remind you of the conditions for the transition to be accepted:
👉 Authorization can only be issued to a natural person.
👉 The person submitting the application must be the future natural person who holds the street taxi authorization.
👉 The operation of taxi services can be taken over by a legal person, on the condition that the holder of the authorization to operate is the administrator responsible for the daily management of this legal person.
👉 The criteria applied to vehicles to obtain the Brussels license are relaxed. From now on, the only criteria are that: the vehicle must have 5 doors and must be no more than 7 years old.
