The passenger did not pay for the ride


Did your passenger leave without paying?

1/ First of all, make sure it's not just a passenger who has a promo code on that ride in cash; if it is, Heetch will pay you the difference on your next transfer.

You can check this on the app at the end of the ride: in this example below, the passenger only has to pay 8€ on a 13€ ride and we will pay you the remaining 5€:

2/ If after verification, the passenger does not benefit from any discount, it is of course totally forbidden and reprehensible to leave without paying for the ride!

If this happens, let us know quickly and directly in the commentary of the ride (this is the place where we have all the necessary information to deal with this incident as soon as possible).

Concerning the passenger: As soon as we receive the message, we immediately block the passenger's account, we try to debit his account and if that doesn't work, we take legal action so that he pays for the ride.

For drivers: While waiting to recover payment from the passenger, our insurance covers unpaid rides up to a maximum of 40€. You will therefore be reimbursed up to a maximum of €40 (minus the commission) and we will of course pay you the remaining amount when the passenger has paid for the ride. You will receive these refunds on your weekly transfer.

Reminder: remember to ask for payment in advance for rides over €40.
