Drivers are free to accept or refuse a proposed ride. Once a ride has been accepted, it is therefore advisable to carry it out and to respect your commitment by travelling in all cases to the address where the passenger is to be picked up.
However, we are aware that sometimes you have no choice but to cancel a journey, for reasons that are not necessarily within your control (lack of baby car seat, number of passengers, passenger behaviour etc.).
On the app, there is a list of several possible cancellations when you want to cancel a journey:
- Passenger unreachable
- Passenger wishes to cancel
- Invalid passenger number
- Problem on the road
- Trip not profitable enough
- Problem with the application
- Bad attitude of passenger
- Passenger too drunk
- Equipment needed
- Too many passengers
- Ride accepted by error
- I am going to made ride the journey
- 🆕 Passenger's name is suspect
In summary, it is essential to respect your commitment after deciding to accept a ride by travelling to the departure address. In cases where you do not go to the passenger's address as planned, the app cannot function properly and does not provide a reliable quality service. A cancellation rate of 20% for drivers is tolerated, as we know that there are a number of exceptional situations that require you to cancel.
