Buying, renting... Which vehicle to choose ?
On Heetch, there is no colour restriction but your car must respect the criteria of the Grandguillaume law:
- Power superior to 84 kW (ie. 115 HP)
- Capacity of 4 to 9 seats
- Length over 4.5 metres and width over 1.7 metres
- At least 4 doors
- Less than 7 years old
- Subject to annual technical inspection
Good to know! For hybrid or electric vehicles, the above conditions do not apply.
If you do not own a vehicle or it does not meet the criteria of the VTC register, you have three options
- Buy a new vehicle (which of course meets the above criteria).
- Leasing: leasing is a fixed-term rental contract that allows you to become the owner of the vehicle at the end of the contract (provided you can "advance" between 0 and 25% of the total amount when the contract is drawn up). If you are interested, you can ask your bank, a leasing company or a car manufacturer.
Non-compliant vehicle
If you want to drive on Heetch, you will need a vehicle that complies with the legislation (it's better!). If your car doesn't meet these criteria, you can't register it on the app or drive it :/
You have received an email saying that your car is not good, what should you do ?
- It's not the right make or model:
Our super regulatory car detection tool is very picky and may not have recognized the information you recorded.
For example, if you've entered Citroën C4 when you have a Citroën C4 Grand Scenic, it won't like it! (because the C4 model is not valid whereas the Grand Scenic is)
In this case, you just have to contact us, specifying the right model and the right brand and everything will be back in order. You can also make a new request to add a vehicle with the right information ;)
- I don't understand, everything is good and I even have the official red sticker!
